Doig, Wilson, and Wheatley

This Scottish framing company was established in 1840, and traded under three different names in its history:
Doig, McKechnie & Davies 1857-1884, Doig & McKechnie 1885-1895, Doig, Wilson & Wheatley 1895-1957.

A very nice Art Nouveau label design:

Aitken Dott & Son

Another example of an Aitken Dott label, this one has a large blank area (image cropped) above the printed text, for details about the painting, artist, and owner etc.

This Scottish framing company, based in Edinburgh, was established in 1842 and traded under a number of names and from numerous addresses. The business was under this name from 1880 to 1984, and from this address between 1874 to 1982. John Kesson

A partial label for John Kesson of 28 Diamond Street, Aberdeen, Scotland. I hope to find a complete example as it is a really nice design with various frames and artist's palette. The frame on the left has the name and address, and the frame on the right says 'Carver' and 'Gilder'. He traded from this address from 1881 to 1915 or later.
